raindrop expressions

Whenever I have a free moment, even if it's only a minute or two, I work on this idea, my girlfriend came up with, for a short film about a rain drop. So these are some expressions of the rain drop character. Not that this is a final design by any means, he may end up looking completely different, depending on the art direction.

Peter Cushing

I have been over dosing on Hammer Films while working on storyboards. I must have watched about 40 Hammer Films in the past few months, almost all the horror flicks. When the horror runs out, I will watch their other genres. I have a much greater appreciation of the great Peter Cushing now. He is amazing in everything; as Dr.  Frankenstein, Van Helsing, Sherlock Holmes, Dr. Who, and every other role he has ever played.

The blue underneath is the rough. I color the far arm and leg blue in the rough to help keep track of which arms and legs are which.

Haven't used this program enough. Actually haven't even been drawing enough lately. I think I prefer the hollowed out blackened eyes in the top pic.
